It is intentionally designed to make Financial Planning and Investment Management accessible, whether you are just starting your wealth-building journey or have most or all of your investments in your employer’s retirement plan, such as a 401(k).

Our minimum annual fee is $4,500, paid monthly.

Flat fee planning for accumulators

Estimate your annual fee

One flat fee covering financial planning and investment management. No commissions, no kickbacks, no surprises. Answer three questions to see your estimated fee.

1. Your household

What counts toward net worth

Include: retirement accounts, taxable brokerage accounts, cash and savings, HSA balances, and vested equity compensation.

Subtract: credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, private student loans, and any HELOC or second mortgage.

Leave out entirely: your primary home and one vacation home, each net of its first mortgage. Also rental and investment property net of any loans against it, 529 accounts, vehicles, personal property, and privately held business equity.

How the fee changes over time

Your fee is reviewed once a year once December 31st values are available and holds for the full twelve months in between. Nothing changes mid-year.

Income is measured as a two-year average, so a bonus year or a large vest does not move your fee on its own. Net worth is measured on December 31.

Who this is not a fit for

Some situations call for a specialist, and it is fairer to say so up front than to take them on. This offering is not a fit if you have or need:

  • Advice on rental(s) and investment property(s)
  • Foreign accounts, foreign income, or cross-border tax situations
  • Federal student loans in an income-driven repayment plan or on a forgiveness track
  • A business with employees, or a business that needs its own financial planning

If any of these apply, reach out anyway. There is a good chance a referral is the most useful thing I can give you.

Fees can be paid via ACH, credit card, or pulled directly from managed investment accounts if they do not exceed 2% of assets under management.
